As a part of Education Sector Occupational Environment, Health & Safety Management System (ED OEHSMS) EHS Directorate, IPHS observed with 3R Drive – a step towards Schools Recycling Pledge.
Different Bins of different colours were placed in the school ground. Blue Bins for Papers, Green Bins for Plastics and Red for Food Cans. Later it was collected by the RAK Municipality. Carton Boxes were kept for one sided papers and left over notebooks. The pages were removed, bounded and the books were distributed to students to be used as rough books. Everyone participated with full enthusiasm. It was a joint venture to create awareness and as an initial step towards effective recycling.
