CURTAIN RAISER TO INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
25th& 26th May,2022
Health is Wealth is not just for quoting it is also for understanding its practical importance and taking steps to remain fit. In the pursuit of the same, different yoga activities were conducted for classes VI to VII.The activity was conducted in the presence of consulate officials,Mr.P.Anand Kumar, Vice Consul (Labour)and Ms.TaduMamu,Consul (Press,Culture,Labour and Info),IFS Officer attended the program.
STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTION-2022
On 11th May 2022, Student Council Election for the post of Arts Secretary, Sports Secretary, House leaders for Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Topaz was conducted democratically.
Pooling Booth were organized in Library for the election. Students from Grade VI to Grade XII, elected their representative. Winners list (attached below). All the newly elected Leaders names were announced during the special assembly conducted by Dr. Annamma Mathew, Vice Principal.
Student Council Coordinators Mr. Sunil Jose and Mrs. Reena and other teaching staff performed various duties during the election. It was a success.
MEET THE LEADERS-2022
‘Meet the Leaders’ Programme was organized in the IPHS School Ground on 9th May, 2022 by students of Grade XII. Programme was started with recitation of Holy Quran by Syed Farhan, Prayer by Adhish, Pledge by Jayden, Motto by Shaun, Vision by Gautham, Mission by Johan, Core values by Jerin, Speech by Head Boy Jerome.
All the Candidates those who represented for the post of Arts Secretary, Sports Secretary, House Leaders- Sapphire, Ruby, Topaz, Emerald campaigned and shared their views to the students of Grade VI to XII. Cultural Programmes like Instrumental, Group song, Dance (Boys & Girls), Fusion Dance, Skit etc. were performed.
Principal Mrs. AnubhaNijhavan explained the responsibilities for the candidates. Vice Principal Dr. Annamma Mathew wished success for the candidate those who are standing for election for different Student Council posts.Comperes of the Meet the leaders Programme was done by Head Girl Ms. Radhika Mahesh and Asst. Head Girl Emma Susan Reji.
Student Council Coordinators Mr. Sunil Jose, Mrs. Reena, School Coordinator Mrs. LigyAjith, Section Supervisors Mrs. ShammySanthosh and Dr. Soumyashree, School Counsellor Mrs. Bitty, Students from Grade VI to Grade XII along with teaching and non- teaching staff were assembled during the programme.
FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATION
IPHS celebrated its 36th birthday on Monday,9th May 2022.36th founder’s day special assembly was conducted for classes VI to X and XII.Chairman Mr.Reji Skaria and Chairperson of Kinderwood Nursery Mrs.Helen John blessed the ceremony with their valuable presence.Chairman Sir’s 30th year completion in IPHS was also celebrated on this day.The 36 years of this educational institution encapsulates many beautiful memories in all marvelous glory. Students and teachers participated enthusiastically making the day a memorable one.

THE CHOSEN
The formation of the student council for the academic year 2022-23 was done by various procedures. The initial procedure or step one was the class prefects from Grade VI- XII on 28-4-2022.
The elected members of each class assembled together on 28-4-2022 to select the Head boy and Head girl. Both the procedures were done by the common election procedures including Ballot paper and polling booth.
Master. Jerome Kenneth of Class XII C was elected as Head Boy and Ms. Radhika Mahesh of Class XII C as Head Girl of Academic Year 2022-23. Master Adithya Senthil of Grade XIIA and Emma Susan Reji of Grade XII B were elected as Assistant Head boy and Assistant Head Girl. The leaders were later addressed by the School Principal Mrs. Anubha Nijhavan, who asserted the duties of leaders. Vice Principal Dr. Annamma Mathew and School Coordinator Mrs. Ligy Ajith Abraham wished all the candidates for election. Student Council Coordinators Mr. Sunil and Mrs. Reena conducted the election.
CLASS PREFECTS ELECTION 2022-23.
The formation of the student council for the academic year 2022-2023 was carried out through various procedures. At a first step the nominees were selected on 20th April, 2022 and were shared in the class by the class teacher forGrade VI – Grade X & XII. The election was conducted through the preparation of Ballot sheet by the class teacher. Result sheet was generated and was shared with the students. All students actively participated in this election to choose their class prefects.

Sanitization and disinfection activity was carried out on Friday,15th April 2022 at IPHS premises covering every class rooms, staff rooms, corridors, restrooms, labs, library , clinics, Admin office and buses as per the required standards.

The commencement of the new academic year was on 11th April, 2022 for classes from KG2 to X, XII.
